Faelia: Chapter OneFaelia wasn’t always called Faelia.

As a matter of fact, it’s not even spelled that way. Faelia was born and called by another name before now, except now no one really remembers it; they’ve been calling her Faelia too long.
Her parents were dirt poor when they came to the town of Ardenia seventeen years ago, and because they couldn’t afford to raise her as they wanted, they wrapped her tightly in old blankets and placed her on the doorstep of the town grocer in the middle of the night with no note of explanation and only a scrap of paper listing her name, which was Elisa, her date of birth, and her age.
